Event on Smart Solutions in Waste Management - 1st December 2021
On 1st December 2021 the Faculty of Economics and Management (VMU) hosted the event “Smart Solutions in Waste Management” organized by the international consortium TWIN-PEAKS, together with the Energy Security Research Center at Vytautas Magnus University. The event gathered not only students who presented their accomplishments during their internship, but also experienced specialists in their fields. Such a mix-up enriches students’ knowledge, allows participants to share different experiences seeing same things from different perspectives as well as expand personal network. The interest and engagement in such events of students and professionals is perfectly illustrated by the interactive discussions that moved into the café after the event and lasted for several hours.
Dr. Aušra Pažėraitė, the coordinating partner of the Consortium from VMU, was pleased to take part in the event as an expert and host: “We very much hope that such events will contribute to the training of young researchers and the further development of knowledge about smart solutions in waste management.”
